Sector Update: Consumer

08:56 AM EDT, 10/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were mixed pre-bell Monday, with the State Street Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLP) 0.9% lower and the State Street Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLY) up 0.5%. Amazon.com (AMZN) said it has expanded access to its Luna gaming service through the Prime Video app on Fire TV to Canada, France, Italy and Spain, with eight more European countries set to follow in November. Shares of Amazon.com were up more than 2% premarket.
