Chorus Aviation to Acquire SkyCare Air Ambulance for CA$40 Million

08:24 AM EDT, 10/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Chorus Aviation (CHR.TO) agreed to acquire SkyCare Air Ambulance for CA$40 million, Chorus said Monday. SkyCare provides 24/7 medical transportation services across Ontario. The deal aligns with Chorus' strategy to build out its aviation, aerospace and defense platform. Chorus will fund the acquisition by paying CA$32 million in cash, while the remainder will be settled on or before March 31, 2029, subject to the achievement of certain performance targets. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
