Cullinan Therapeutics, Taiho Oncology Report 30.2% Intracranial Response Rate in Phase 2 Cancer Trial

07:57 AM EDT, 10/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Cullinan Therapeutics (CGEM) and Taiho Oncology said Monday zipalertinib showed "clinically meaningful" intracranial antitumor activity in a phase 2 trial of patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Among 43 evaluable patients in cohort C, the treatment achieved an intracranial objective response rate of 30.2% and a disease control rate of 72.1%. The median duration of intracranial response was 9.7 months, the companies said. Grade 3 or higher treatment-related adverse events occurred in 20.9% of patients, with paronychia and diarrhea being the most common treatment-related adverse events overall, the companies said. Shares of Cullinan Therapeutics were 3.3% higher in Monday premarket activity.
