Centrus Energy Acquires Westerman for $116 Million to Expand Manufacturing

07:55 AM EDT, 10/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Centrus Energy (LEU) said Monday it acquired Westerman Holdings for approximately $116 million to strengthen its nuclear fuel supply chain and expand manufacturing capabilities. The deal was funded with about $95 million in cash and $21 million in equity and is expected to boost adjusted earnings per share in the first year after closing, the company said. It added that the acquisition is expected to reduce project costs, improve supply chain efficiency and diversify Centrus' revenue beyond nuclear energy.
