Eli Lilly Meets Primary Endpoint in Late-Stage Pediatric Omvoh Trial

05:23 AM EDT, 10/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Eli Lilly (LLY) met its primary endpoint in a late-stage study of Omvoh in pediatric patients aged 6 to 17 with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis, the company said Monday. Around 81% of patients in the single-arm, open-label study achieved a clinical response to the medication after 12 weeks of treatment. Among these responders, roughly 50% of patients achieved clinical remission at Week 52, the company said. Eli Lilly intends to submit the positive data to global regulators for a potential label expansion. Omvoh is currently approved to treat adults with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis, it added.
