ZEC, XMR, and DOGE Face Bearish Pressure: Key Price Levels to Watch

  • ZEC tests support near $1,196 as weakening momentum threatens further declines below $1,120.
  • XMR holds above $515 support, but declining volume raises questions about recovery strength.
  • DOGE trades below major moving averages as weak momentum threatens support near $0.0800.

Zcash, Monero, and Dogecoin are facing fresh challenges as selling pressure weighs on prices. Recent pullbacks have tested important support levels across all the three promising altcoins. Buyers have defended some levels, but weakening momentum raises concerns about further declines. Trading volume also offers limited confirmation of a strong recovery. Traders should watch key support and resistance zones closely. These levels could help determine whether prices recover or extend their recent losses.

Zcash (ZEC)

Zcash trades near $1,196 after falling roughly 30% from September’s peak around $1,700. The current pullback has brought ZEC close to the 50-day moving average. This level represents an important test following the strong rally since August. A correction after such gains does not automatically signal a broader trend reversal. Support begins at $1,120, the recent low. Below that, the $1,050 to $1,100 range offers another potential buying zone. Further downside could expose the 100-day moving average near $985. The 200-day moving average around $760 represents deeper support. Resistance stands at $1,230, $1,290, and $1,350. However, the RSI has slipped below 50, suggesting weakening momentum. Trading volume has also declined during recent sessions.

Monero (XMR)

Monero trades near $528 after retreating approximately 17% from September’s high around $635. The price remains above the 50-day moving average near $515. This support level could determine whether XMR maintains strength during the correction. Additional support sits at $483, followed by the 100-day moving average near $472. Recent buying near $483 suggests demand remains below $500. Resistance appears between $540 and $545, followed by $560 and $590. Unlike ZEC and DOGE, Monero retains a stronger higher-timeframe structure. Major moving averages continue trending upward, while the 200-day average sits near $430. However, declining volume suggests traders remain cautious.

Dogecoin (DOGE)

Dogecoin trades near $0.0845 after a sharp decline last week. Buyers recently defended $0.0800, helping DOGE rebound approximately 5%. However, weak trading volume raises questions about the recovery’s strength. Support stands at $0.0800 and $0.0780. Resistance appears at $0.0862, followed by $0.0877 to $0.0890. DOGE trades below its 100-day, 50-day, and 20-day moving averages. The 200-day average near $0.0928 presents another major hurdle. The RSI remains below 50, confirming weak momentum. A daily close above $0.0862 would provide an early recovery signal. Failure could expose DOGE to renewed selling pressure.

ZEC must reclaim $1,230 to improve short-term momentum. XMR needs to defend $515 to preserve its stronger trend. DOGE faces resistance from several moving averages above current prices. Traders should monitor volume and key price levels before anticipating reversals.

Just bet on AI and already faced a market blow! Berkshire reports earnings tonight, Abel faces a major test in his transformation

Greg Abel has been leading Berkshire Hathaway for less than a year, yet he has already made a bet of over $10.9 billion on the AI sector, marking a complete break from Buffett’s traditional avoidance of tech stocks. However, Alphabet’s stock price has fallen below their initial purchase cost, and Bending Spoons continues to decline, putting this bold AI gamble to the test. At the same time, third-quarter earnings per share are expected to drop 6% year-over-year, and the share repurchase program is likely to plummet from $4.5 billion to $1.6 billion. How to deploy $358 billion in cash will be a major challenge for the new leader’s capital allocation skills.

Has the AI bubble burst? Goldman Sachs: It's more like 1998 than 2000 right now

The Goldman Sachs trading desk stated that the current wave of sell-offs resembles the 1998 liquidity crisis more than the bursting of the 2000 bubble. It is a forced deleveraging rather than a refutation of business fundamentals. The market is drastically repricing construction financing and timeline expectations, rather than underlying demand. Moreover, the issues currently drawing the most attention from the market—electricity and licensing—are actually the least important, as limited supply does not equate to disappearing demand. The real question that needs to be answered is whether long-term revenues can ultimately justify the capital invested.
