03:32 PM EDT, 10/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Healthcare stocks were lower late Friday afternoon, with the NYSE Healthcare Index down 0.1% and the State Street Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLV) decreasing 0.4%. The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) dropped 2.6%. In corporate news, Iambic Therapeutics (IAM) shares were climbing 18%, a day after the company made its debut on Nasdaq with an initial public offering of $16 per share.
