NG Energy International Releases Results From Aruchara-6 Well in Colombia

10:05 AM EDT, 10/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- NG Energy International (GASX.TO) released initial results from the Aruchara-6 well at its Maria Conchita Block in Colombia, and provided an operational update on the Sinu-9 Block. The company said Friday that Aruchara-6 well has been drilled, completed and connected to the central processing facility at Maria Conchita, with well performance evaluation now underway through the CPF and new gas volumes being sold into the Colombian marketplace. The well produced at rates of up to 8.7 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) gross (6.96 MMcf/d net) during initial flow tests done through the CPF, with a choke of 30/64 and average tubing head pressure of 780 pounds per square inch (psi), said the company. The company expects the total field production at Maria Conchita with the addition of this well to increase to 23.0 MMcf/d gross (18.4 MMcf/d net), compared to 16.0 MMcf/d gross (12.8 MMcf/d net) prior to the addition of the well, bringing the combined company net production across Maria Conchita and Sinu-9 to approximately 29.1 MMcf/d, it said. At the Sinu-9 Block, the Encantado-1X well was spudded on Oct 6, and drilling is currently underway, the company said. Commissioning of the Sinu-9 pipeline loop is now complete, increasing gross transportation capacity to 40-45 MMcf/d (15.6-17.6 MMcf/d net), NG said.
