Corporacion America Airports Passenger Traffic Rises 3.4% to 7.7 Million in September

08:59 AM EDT, 10/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Corporacion America Airports (CAAP) said Friday passenger traffic rose 3.4% year over year to 7.7 million in September, driven by international travel and growth across most operating markets. International passenger traffic increased 7.2%, while domestic traffic fell 1%, it said. Armenia recorded the strongest growth, with passenger numbers climbing 18.7%, followed by Italy at 8%, the company said. Brazil was the only operating market to report an overall decline, with traffic down 1.7%, it added. Cargo volume increased 0.8%, while aircraft movements remained virtually unchanged, Corporacion America Airports said.
