Future Mineral Resources Reports Amended Agreement for Poland Project Acquisition

08:35 AM EDT, 10/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Future Mineral Resources (FMR.TO) reported certain amendments to a previously announced agreement to acquire the remaining 52% stake in a nickel-zinc-lead project in Poland. Future Mineral will now issue promissory notes to satisfy a CA$2.6 million payment to vendors, the company said Friday. The notes will each bear a 10% annual interest, payable annually, maturing 24 months after the closing date. The outside date for the completion of the acquisition was also extended to Dec. 31, 2026. The transaction is expected to close in November.
