Regeneron Pharmaceuticals said the European Medicines Agency's Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use has recommended approval of a reduced dosing regimen for its blockbuster cancer drug Libtayo.
Regeneron on Friday said the CHMP recommendation supports reducing Libtayo's dosing frequency across all approved cancer types from every three weeks to every six weeks after the first 12 weeks of treatment.
The Tarrytown, N.Y., biotechnology company said the European Commission, which generally follows the CHMP's advice, is expected to announce a final decision in the coming months.
