Omeros Narsoplimab Application Rejected Again by EU Medicines Committee

07:08 AM EDT, 10/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Omeros (OMER) said Friday the European Union's Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use rejected again the company's application to market narsoplimab for a rare blood complication that follows stem cell transplants. The CHMP reaffirmed its June verdict after re-examination, and an eight-member expert group brought in for the review called for outside specialists to examine patient-level data on who responds to the drug and who survives, the company said. Patient-level data Omeros submitted in August to support the re-examination did not reach the expert group, Omeros said. Shares of the company were down 2.6% in Friday premarket activity.
