Vogenx Begins Phase 2b Trial of Mizagliflozin for Post-Bariatric Hypoglycemia

05:18 PM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Vogenx (VOGX) started a phase 2b trial assessing mizagliflozin to treat post-bariatric hypoglycemia, a condition with no approved therapies, the company said Thursday in a statement. The randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study is designed to enroll about 36 adults who underwent bariatric surgery more than 12 months earlier and who experience recurrent reactive hypoglycemia, Vogenx said. The trial is expected to be conducted at about 10 sites in the US.
