Ferrovial Selected for Georgia's $8.9 Billion I-285 East Express Lanes Project

03:20 PM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ferrovial (FER) said Thursday the Ferrovial-led consortium, Top End Mobility Group, was selected to deliver the I-285 East Express Lanes project in Greater Atlanta, Georgia, with an expected construction value of $8.9 billion. The project is a major public-private partnership led by the Georgia Department of Transportation and the State Road and Tollway Authority. Phase 1 of the project includes about 21 miles of new express lanes and key connections among I-285, I-85 and SR 400, the company said.
