Nine Mile Metals Acquires Two Claim Blocks at Nine Mile Brook Project in New Brunswick

12:53 PM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Nine Mile Metals (NINE.CN) said on Thursday that it acquired two project claim blocks that were identified by its geophysics program at its Nine Mile Brook Project in New Brunswick. Nine Mile Brook East consists of 39 claims and covers a large package of Boucher Brook sediments and lesser mafic volcanics. The second block, Muddy Lake South, consists of 27 claims and is located along the southern boundary of the Nine Mile Brook Project, a statement said. The two blocks total 14.42 square kilometers. The company also announced assay results for the Wedge Mine in the Bathurst Mining Camp in New Brunswick. Zone 1 highlights included 4.88% copper-equivalent over 7.6 meters while Zone 2 returned 2.89% copper-equivalent over 1.2 meters. "Nine Mile Brook is the project our company is named after, acquiring these two claim packages expands our footprint through geophysical identification over the past two years. APEX Geoscience has defined new targets for our upcoming 2027 Nine Mile Brook exploration program," said President Jonathan Holmes.
