Fiserve Poised to Post 'Uninspiring' Q3 Results Amid Delay in Recovery, BofA Says

10:48 AM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Fiserv (FISV) is likely to post "uninspiring" Q3 results as recovery from a sharp deceleration in organic growth after the Q2 print could take longer than expected, BofA Securities said in a Thursday note. The company's hybrid business structure could prove less synergistic, while rebuilding client trust, improving execution and retaining competitive positioning appear to be multi-year tasks, according to the note. The company is set to report Q3 results on Nov. 3. For Q3, BofA said it expects adjusted EPS of $1.68. For fiscal 2026, it expects EPS of $7.14. Fiserv's Clover terminal remains the "cornerstone" of the long-term growth narrative, but rising point-of-sale competition could challenge its share gains and monetization. For Q3, BofA said it expects Clover revenue growth of 2.4%. BofA reinstated coverage of the stock with an underperform rating and a price target of $48.
