Revolution Medicines' Pancreatic Cancer Drug Gets EU Panel Recommendation

10:25 AM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Revolution Medicines (RVMD) said Thursday that a European Medicines Agency committee recommended marketing authorization for Rasonque, or daraxonrasib, for adults with metastatic pancreatic cancer who have received at least one prior systemic therapy. The recommendation was based on results from the phase 3 RASolute 302 trial, in which daraxonrasib reduced the risk of death by 60% compared with chemotherapy in the overall study population, the company said. Median overall survival was 13.2 months with the drug, compared with 6.7 months for chemotherapy. The trial also showed significant improvements in progression-free survival. The European Commission will consider the recommendation. If approved, daraxonrasib would provide the EU's first broad RAS-targeted treatment option for metastatic pancreatic cancer.
