10:16 AM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The International Energy Agency said its members agreed to release the remaining 100 million barrels of oil from a plan launched in March to stabilize global markets, Bloomberg News reported Thursday, citing the agency. The countries will speed up the release, including 20 million barrels of diesel, "as soon as possible," the agency added, according to the report.
