09:07 AM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Quarterhill (QTRH.TO) secured a $28.2 million subcontract with BRiC-TPS to support the modernization of the back office system of the Metro ExpressLanes in Los Angeles County. Quarterhill's scope of work includes project management, security compliance oversight and on-site help desk personnel, the company said Thursday. The modernization program covers tolling operations, customer account management, financial and operational reporting, system integrations, and support services. The company's shares, up 164% over the past 12 months, closed up CA$0.07 to CA$2.83 Wednesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
