08:57 AM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Legend Biotech (LEGN) said Thursday the US Food and Drug Administration cleared its application to begin clinical testing of LB2501, an experimental therapy for relapsed or treatment-resistant B-cell cancers, including non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The company said the planned phase 1/2 US trial will evaluate the therapy's safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and early effectiveness. The company said the treatment is designed to be given in a single infusion and will be tested without lymphodepleting chemotherapy, which is used to prepare patients for some cell therapies, it added.
