08:27 AM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- RTX's (RTX) Raytheon has been awarded a contract to modernize US Space Force radar sites that provide early warning of launches, characterize objects, and track activity in space, it said on Thursday. Under the Ground-Based Radar Digitization program, Raytheon will upgrade the existing systems to enhance overall performance, improve reliability, and support more advanced operational capabilities, according to a statement. Financial details were not disclosed.
