Northland Power Reports Installation of All Turbines at Hai Long Offshore Wind Project

08:20 AM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Northland Power (NPI.TO) said Thursday all 73 turbines at its 1-gigawatt Hai Long offshore wind project in the Taiwan Strait have been installed and are generating electricity. The project is on track to secure final permitting approvals in the first half of 2027, while overall construction costs remained aligned with expectations, Northland said. Northland owns a 30.6% stake in the project, while Mitsui & Co. owns 40% and Gentari International Renewables owns 29.4%.
