07:19 AM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Westport Fuel Systems (WPRT.TO) has changed its name to Aetherion Technologies, reflecting the company's renewed focus on developing solutions for lower-emission, heavy-duty transportation. The name change will have no impact on operations, ownership or commitments to customers, partners, employees and shareholders, the company said Thursday. The company expects to commence trading as Aetherion Technologies on the Toronto Stock Exchange and Nasdaq around Oct. 23 under the AETR ticker.
