03:54 AM EDT, 10/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Nvidia (NVDA) will donate $250 million in computing capacity over five years to fund UK research on the safety and security of artificial intelligence agents, the company said on Wednesday. The donation provides $50 million in compute each year, with the bulk going to the wider UK research community and part backing work at the University of Oxford, UCL and Imperial College London, the company said. Compute will be delivered through UK-based Nvidia Cloud Partners with infrastructure hosted in the country, while provider selection and commercial terms are still uncertain, Nvidia said. The research will cover secure agents, open-model security and real-world threat management, supporting safety benchmarks and reproducible studies, it added.
