Generate Biomedicines, Zealand Pharma Report Partnership

05:10 PM EDT, 10/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Generate Biomedicines (GENB) said late Tuesday it is partnering with Zealand Pharma (ZEAL) to develop multi-specific protein therapeutics for obesity and other metabolic diseases. The firm said it will use its AI platform for research through lead-candidate selection, while Zealand will be responsible for clinical development, regulatory submissions, and commercialization. For the two initial programs, Generate said it will get $30 million upfront and up to $35 million in early preclinical milestones, and is eligible for total milestones of nearly $1.2 billion.
