05:35 PM EDT, 10/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Republic Services (RSG) said late Monday it has opened an expanded compost facility at Forward Landfill in San Joaquin County, California. With additional processing space and upgraded infrastructure, the facility provides increased capacity to recycle food scraps and yard waste from homes and businesses, the firm said. The company also said it plans to open the San Bernardino Sustainability Park later this year.
