08:51 AM EDT, 09/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Albemarle (ALB) said Thursday it appointed Ragnar Udd as president and chief executive officer, effective Feb. 1, 2027. Current Chairman and Chief Executive Kent Masters will shift to executive chairman of the board when Udd assumes the position, the company said. Udd currently serves as chief commercial officer at BHP and will also join the board of directors, Albemarle said.
