Energy futures sector falls across the board

Golden Ten Data, March 31—The energy and chemical sector futures collectively declined, with the main contract of low sulfur fuel oil (LU) falling by more than 7%. Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and plastics dropped by over 5%. Fuel oil, methanol, polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and propylene main contracts fell by more than 4%. The main contract of fuel oil fell nearly 4%. SC crude oil, pure benzene, and paraxylene (PX) fell by more than 3%. Ethylene glycol (EG), PTA, soda ash, and short fiber main contracts declined by more than 2%.
