Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest ETFs (exchange-traded funds) made strategic portfolio moves on Wednesday, February 11, as revealed in daily fund disclosures. The ace hedge fund manager capitalized on the post-earnings dip in Robinhood Markets (HOOD) and Shopify (SHOP) shares, accumulating millions at a discount.

Wood also acquired shares of cryptocurrency companies Bullish (BLSH) and Circle Internet (CRCL) as these stocks remain pressured amid the ongoing crypto slump. Additionally, she bought shares of software company Figma (FIG), leveraging the current dip in software stocks.

Most of these purchases were made across the ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK), the ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW), and the ARK Fintech Innovation Fund (ARKF).

Here’s How Wood Allocated $74M in Stocks

Robinhood Markets – Wood acquired a total of 433,806 shares of this brokerage platform for $33.86 million. HOOD stock plunged 8.8% on February 11 after missing Q4 revenue estimates, though earnings of $0.66 beat the consensus.

Shopify – Wood added 150,421 shares of the Canadian e-commerce portal for $17.89 million. SHOP stock dropped 6.5% yesterday, despite beating sales and earnings expectations for Q4 and announcing a $2 billion share buyback plan.

Other Notable Purchases – ARK Invest bought 364,134 shares of crypto exchange Bullish for $11.60 million. Wood added 75,559 shares of the stablecoin company Circle Internet for $4.37 million, riding a 3.2% dip in its stock price. Wood also acquired 280,138 shares of Figma for $6.32 million, while its shares declined 6.4%.

Why Wood Is Optimistic on these Stocks

With crypto markets still recovering from 2025’s regulatory headwinds and software stocks facing AI-driven margin pressures, these buys signal confidence in long-term growth narratives despite short-term earnings misses, such as HOOD’s revenue shortfall offset by profitability beats.

Has the AI bubble burst? Goldman Sachs: It's more like 1998 than 2000 right now

The Goldman Sachs trading desk stated that the current wave of sell-offs resembles the 1998 liquidity crisis more than the bursting of the 2000 bubble. It is a forced deleveraging rather than a refutation of business fundamentals. The market is drastically repricing construction financing and timeline expectations, rather than underlying demand. Moreover, the issues currently drawing the most attention from the market—electricity and licensing—are actually the least important, as limited supply does not equate to disappearing demand. The real question that needs to be answered is whether long-term revenues can ultimately justify the capital invested.
