Cathie Wood: Optimistic about the relaxed regulatory environment brought by Trump's election victory, America needs to seize opportunities in cryptocurrency and AI
According to Bloomberg, Ark Investment Management founder Cathie Wood said she looks forward to the relaxed regulatory environment following Trump's presidency, especially in the fields of technology, cryptocurrency and digital assets. She pointed out that due to the over-regulation by current SEC Chairman Gensler, the United States has almost lost its competitive advantage in the field of cryptocurrency.
Wood emphasized that cryptocurrencies and artificial intelligence are key technological platforms that America must grasp to maintain global leadership. She predicts that under Trump's new government leadership, markets will shift from focusing on a few tech stocks over the past four years towards a broader range of innovative areas which is beneficial for small and medium-sized enterprises at the forefront of innovation. Regarding Trump's tariff policy, Wood believes it would be reasonable if tax cuts could offset its impact.
