This mechanism has two functions. Firstly, it optimizes the current AMM mechanism. Secondly, it can serve as the infrastructure for the current Desci project, reducing the risk of investors buying Desci tokens.

Specific role

1. Discretization vs Continuity

Traditional AMM uses a continuous market-making mechanism to operate in a single pool of funds

Antitoken uses a discretized AMM model to make markets through the interaction of $ANTI and $PRO token pairs. This discretization mechanism can better handle market situations with clear boundaries.

2. Provide examples

Suppose there is a new drug development project:

1) Initial stage

The research team has released a new drug development project and is expected to produce experimental results in six months

Need to raise 100 SOL of funds.

Investor A's judgment:

- Think the project has a 70% chance of success

- Decided to invest 10 SOL

Specific operation:

- Invest 7 SOL to buy $PRO (optimistic about success)

Invest 3 SOL to buy $ANTI (corresponding to possible failure).

- Deposit these tokens into the Collider contract

- Receive the corresponding $BARYON and $PHOTON tokens

If the project is successful:

The value of A's $BARYON token has increased. You can choose to continue holding or exchange it back to the original token, and gain additional income due to accurate predictions.

If the project fails:

Although the main prediction error resulted in a partial loss of $BARYON, the loss was limited due to the reserved 30% uncertainty ($ANTI). The $PHOTON token may still maintain a certain value.

3. Mechanism advantages

Investors can accurately express their confidence in the project, automatically diversifying risks (through token combinations), making all operations transparent and automatically executed, and automatically distributing profits according to smart contracts.

In plain language, this mechanism is most suitable for Desci and Desci investors. It can not only reduce the risk for investors, but also increase the returns of project parties. New mechanisms always come with risks, but I haven't seen any fun mechanisms on SOL for a long time. I hope this mechanism can shine. In summary, all projects (not pure memes), especially Desci projects, should use the anti & pro mechanism to make a market, rather than just issuing a coin.
