With Bittensor's market cap rising to 4 billion USD, an increase of over 220%, the overall market value of AI cryptocurrencies broke through 10 billion USD in mid-February.
By March this year, the sector's market cap had exceeded 25 billion USD. Around March 9th, several projects including Bittensor, Fetch.ai, OriginTrail, Worldcoin and Arkham all hit record highs with the sector's total market value nearing 30 billion USD. Over the past few days, however, the sector's market cap has fallen below 25 billion USD as investors seem to be taking profits after a possible overheated surge in the market; most of the top ten AI cryptocurrencies have dropped more than 20% from their peaks.
