Grayscale CEO: Developing a spot Bitcoin ETF options market is very important

Grayscale CEO Michael Sonnenshein posted on the X platform: Looking forward, I believe that advocating for a strong options market for spot Bitcoin ETFs has never been as important as it is now for the cryptocurrency and ETF community. Although GBTC has been on the public market since 2015, it has never come with listed options because they are not characteristic of over-the-counter markets. The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and other national exchanges recently submitted Form 19b-4 to amend listing standards to allow commodity-based ETFs to list options, including spot Bitcoin ETFs like GBTC."
